Update on Your Project Inquiry

Dear [Client's Name],

Thanks for having me over to talk about your project on [Day I visited]. After looking over my notes and photos, and considering our current workload and the tight labor market, I've had to think really hard about which projects we take on. At James & Co Residential Builders, we're a best fit for work that:

  • Needs a licensed builder

  • Requires managing several trades at once

  • Is either classed exempt development, or, if requires approval, is ready to go, with designs, plans, and approvals already in place

  • Falls into the kind of work we've done before

  • Is close to our base in North Epping, so we can easily get our gear and supplies where they need to be

After giving it some thought, it looks like your project might not be the best fit for us right now. This isn’t about the project not being worthwhile, but more about making sure we can do our best work where it counts.

In your project’s case- I think I’d recommend seeking a specialist or a team that’s a better match for what you need.

Just to run through the items I’ve jotted down-

I really appreciate your understanding, and I’m sorry for any hassle this might cause you. I really hope your project turns out great and hope everything goes smoothly for you from here.

Take care,
